Spring Growth, Sustain, and Explore Program

 

The Spring program helps learners grow the skills they learn during the Fall program and develop individual strategies to sustain those skills as they grow. Learners will explore entrepreneurship and continue to learn more about various careers. Learners will practice various movement techniques to sharpen mental performance and explore critical thinking concepts while working to understand and appreciate different cultures.

January - “Leadership”

Learners will explore leadership qualities and engage in activities to practice being a leader and making confident decisions. Leadership activities will provide Learners with opportunities to experience overcoming failures as a leader and practicing humility and grace when outcomes aren't as expected.

February - “Organization”

Learners will discover the importance of being organized and learn how to become, and stay, organized every day. This lesson expands beyond the school day into organization at home and within the mind and body. Learners will explore how they have control over their environment and how an organized environment can spark creativity, productivity, and overall wellness.

March - “Motivation”

Learners will dive into self-motivation and how to maintain inspiration especially when struggling through challenges. Learners will hear how others have been inspired and will develop ideas for a business project based on their personal interests.

April - “Courage”

Learners will experience being vulnerable and open to change by being presented with new ideas and activities to broaden their knowledge. This will provide Learners with opportunities to display courage and go beyond what they believed were their personal limitations.

May - “Reflection”

Learners reflect on lessons they've learned throughout the semester. They explore the mind, body, and spirit connection while acknowledging their accomplishments and setting goals for the next semester or chapter in life.
